A Chat About How To Stay Motivated With An Artistic Career
Hello!
You don't have to be a slave to the work world. You can carve out a life you really want. The secret is, never give up.
So many people have jobs they hate and complain about them all the time, meanwhile having a solid paycheck (which they should consider themselves lucky). Unfortunately, most people admire those "complaining, sacrificial slaves" and criticize the people who "appear to have life easy from the outside" (which in reality, are 100% struggling with their artistic ventures but nobody thinks to give them a bit of encouragement). This is where I'm stepping up to say...
Be your #1 fan because no one else will be.
Do what you love. Love what you do. Struggle, work harder in silence, don't let the little things (and little people) get you down. Most people are narrowminded and will only see what they want to see. You don't have to climb Mount Everest to prove you're strong. You don't have to become a millionaire overnight to prove your business or artistic career is a success. Real success is a series of small victories overcome again and again and again.
My advice: Never complain about something you aren't willing to change.
My thoughts: If you have a dream, go for it 100% until you succeed!
I'm an indie author and editor. I love what I do. It's my business, artistic career, my work world. It's hard work, even if people throw me off as being lazy and unsuccessful. I only remind myself, Narrow minds can't open even if they would want to. Keep that thought in mind, too. Too many people would make us feel so insignificant, without even knowing it. Let it go in one ear, out the other. I did, and that's why I'm working and struggling away at www.amberflorenza.me.uk but will never quit because this is what I do and I LOVE IT.
Peace & love & blessings,
Amber 🦋
